19th C. Pencil Drawing of a Farm

A small 19th c. graphite pencil on paper drawing of a cape style home and farm in a period gold leaf frame. Attributed to E.B Pike, 1856, New Hampshire.

I have always personally loved to draw in pencil and I love how earnest this little drawing is. Paired with the gilt frame which gives this sweet simple country scene just the right touch of elegance.
