Pair of Homespun Pillowcases
A pair of 19th c. American homespun linen, circa 1840. Delicate faggoting and fringe along the edge. With a handwritten identification label reading "(First word indistinguishable) Nancy Orr Davenport No 3"
It has been common practice around the world for linens to be passed down through generations. I especially loved the sepia ink writing and delicate finishing details on this pair.
